• Chapter 8 Fear

  The Norcelus Region was out of all the regions combined the dirtiest region ever as it housed 9 of the most feared bandit clans ever, and was known for being dishonest and cruel beyond a shadow of a doubt. Eight years ago, Amgis, a green haired thief, came out of nowhere and with the power of the Blue Orb of Bethumet, controlled the clans by his lonesome, forging a darker path for Norcelus as he rigged each and every town of its stock and created his own tall mansion with the labor of countless men and women. These acts of cruelty and shame might have continued, but a new age was born with Amgis holding that orb.....

   

  Because the creature wanted it to.

   

  "Nighttime watch duty. We're bandits, we shouldn't be night guards!!!" One of the three guards said.

   

  "I knowze what'cha mean, we're supposa be thieves, stealing and robbin' and shtick, not some suped upta lookouts!!!!" Yelled a second guard with some terrible English.

   

  "Well, what else is there to do?" said the third guard near a small fire. "Thanks to that spoiled brat, this is our way of earning money, especially since no one comes through here anyways.”

   

   "Yeahza, we earn's some money, ok," the second guard said, "no more than somze prick buying a cup of cold sup and a sitck!!!!"

   

  "Just to do what???" The first guard joined in, “Just to sit down near a fire for eight hours watching some freak show with black wings walk toward us like he's some tough guy!"

   

  "YEAH!" The second guard said until the third guard pointed out,

   

  "Wait, where'd ya get the black wings idea from?"

   

  "From that mutated lookin' fool walking towards- SON OF A-!??!?"They was pretty stunned to see someone actually walking towards this region considering its history, but yes, the creature with black wings slowly walked toward them desiring something that this region has. And because they were so stunned, the creature actually passed them by and was 4 ft ahead of them. They were pissed when this happened.

   

  “Hey you prick, what do ya think ya doing!??!" The first guard yelled.

   

  "You can't justa go pastin uss without seeina uss!!!" Said the second guard. Then the third guard while walking up towards the creature said,

   

  "Some tough guy you are, just entering our turf without a-" And without much effort the creature slashed almost all of its head off, leaving it hanging like its head was cracked, except the blood spouted out, and causing the two remaining to remain speechless until the creature didn't even enter their site. After they stopped wetting themselves because of terror, the second guard shook while saying,

   

  "S-s-shou--ldd-nn't -wweee-bee--ccall----inn---out----hel---ppp??" Without saying a word, the first guard sent a flare up to the sky: a threat was coming.

   

  At about halfway between the main entrance of Norcelus and most of the battlefield stood all nine clans, with the weapons of their choice, wondering what dunces would come to this region to challenge them. Even though Amgis didn't show up, they felt that there's no way that they would be outnumbered or beaten. After a while though they continued to wait, and an hour later, some were getting tired of waiting, and then they all believed that the guards pulled some sort of prank, which wouldn't make sense since Amgis outlawed jokes in this region, and a prank is similar to a joke, so some felt like they wouldn't be stupid enough to do that. But another hour passed, and all of the clans were furious and angry as they felt like they was tricked and was motioned to head back home. Some bandits were curious though, and checked to see over the hill if there was something coming.

   

  "GAAAHHH!!!" Well, I guess they found out.

   

  "LOOK! I see someone strange!" Yelled one of the bandits, except you would think the painful screams gave that away. They all looked, and there it was, the creature, still walking painfully slowly. Once the bandits saw this, they were outraged and charged at that creature like wild beasts angry that they didn't get their share of food from their masters. Um....they needed to be angrier? I don't think that mattered because the creature was too determined, and realistically too powerful, as the 450 bandits that were on the battlefield ready to avenge their comrades were instead sliced, diced, ripped, thrashed, etc, basically anything bad that could happen on this battlefield, such as someone's man region getting ripped and thrown on the battlefield, someone's heart being taken out and put into somebody's mouth, then somebody's eyes were taken out and crushed....yeah, it was a whole lot of shit in the battlefield....with only one survivor. That survivor was heading towards Norcelus...

   

  "Yawwnn....." was Amgis as he rose up from his bed and saw the blue orb glow like something bad is going on. He wondered what's going on. He put some clothes on and washed his face, then looked out to the sky to see daybreak. Then he looked down from his terrace and saw a trail of blood in a straight path, then went right towards the entrance. "HOLY SH-" He then tried to get someone nearby, except that wasn't the case, but then some odd thought came into his head, "Fear.....radiant...power...cold...." Then as soon as he came to his senses, a figure wearing a black trench coat coated with blood and one red eye looked directly at the face of Amgis. Amgis gave a loud scream, then ran into his room, took the blue orb, and waited patiently for the creature to show up. As soon as he saw it, he called forth the power of ice, and out of the air a stalagmite of ice seemed to engulf the creature. Except when it cleared, the creature was nowhere to be seen. The final words Amgis would say after that was two simple but true words, "I'm fucked."

   

  And well, he totally was.

   

  Norcelus was an utter and complete mess, as countless men had their blood and excrements stained on the battlefield in different sorts of body positions. With all those men like that, they seemed there to stay, while a yellow haired half-demon girl could only look in disbelief at the terror in the area....
